Join your colleagues at the 8th Lilly Conference on College Teaching - East to be held in Towson, MD, on April 1~2, 2005. Lilly Conferences are retreats that combine workshops, discussion sessions, and major addresses, with opportunities for informal discussion about excellence in college and university teaching and learning. Internationally-known scholars join new and experienced faculty members and administrators from all over the world to discuss topics such as gender differences in learning, incorporating technology into teaching, encouraging critical thinking, using teaching and student portfolios, implementing group learning, and evaluating teaching. The Lilly Conferences are the premier forums in the country for showing innovative teaching at the university level. You are invited to join the Lilly Conference on College Teaching - East as a presenter or an involved participant. Towson University faculty members, please note that Faculty Development will pay for your registration in full only if you will be presenting at Lilly East 2005. Otherwise, your fees will be reduced to 1/2 of the team member registration, with Faculty Development sponsoring you for the remaining sum. |
