Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Student Development

Division of Student Affairs

The LGBT Student Development Program strives to create an inclusive and educated campus community where all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and ally students feel welcome, supported, valued and engaged. The LGBT Student Development Program offers programming that encourages LGBT students to explore leadership, campus involvement, personal health and wellness, internships and career development, educational outreach and mentorship.  This program seeks to foster a sense of community and empowerment for students that celebrate their sexual orientation and gender identity/expression.  The LGBT Student Development program also provides opportunities to the larger Towson University community to become more aware and supportive of LGBT students through special events, the Safe Space Program and SpeakOUT: the TU LGBT Speakers Bureau.
