Title: ACT Institutional Data Questionnaire
Organization: ACT
Summary Information: Standardized set of information completed by all colleges and universities for submission to college guide books.

Title: Alumni Survey
Organization: Internal
Summary: Tri-annual follow-up survey of bachelor degree recepients one year after completion. This survey provides information about the post graduation employment and educational activities of degree receipients and their perceptions on the quality of their experiences, instruction, and other outcomes. This survey is mandated by the Maryland Higher Education Commission.

Title: College Board Annual Survey of Colleges

Summary Information: Standardized set of information completed by all colleges and universities for submission to college guide books.

Title: Faculty Compensation Survey
Organization: American Association of University Professors (AAUP)
Summary Information: The AAUP is the only organization to collect and publish current national data on faculty compensation. The AAUP survey is the source for faculty salary listings in The Chronicle of Higher Education, and is utilized by U.S. News and World Report, Barron’s, and many other publications. The AAUP Faculty Compensation Survey provides comparative data to institutions in three ways: First, the published annual report includes institution-specific listings of average salaries and total compensation by academic rank. Institutions are compared within their category on the basis of the AAUP rating system. The published listing also provides average salaries by gender. Second, the report provides summary tables by type of institution, geographic region, gender, and academic rank. These allow institutions to compare their faculty salaries and benefit costs with various categories of peers. Finally, the AAUP Research Office offers customized peer comparisons on these and other measures; an order form describing these analyses is enclosed.

Summary Information: Annual survey completed by all providers of post-secondary education on recognized degree completions in postsecondary education programs by level (associate's, bachelor's, master's, doctor's, and first-professional) and on other formal awards by length of program.

Title: IPEDS – Employees by Assigned Position
Organization: National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
Summary Information: The EAP Collects headcount information (as of November 1 of the current academic year) by full and part-time status; by function or occupational category; and by faculty status and tenure status (if applicable).

Title: IPEDS – Enrollment Survey

Summary Information: Annual survey completed by all providers of post-secondary education on the number of full- and part-time students enrolled in the fall in postsecondary institutions, by level (undergraduate, first-professional, and graduate) and by race/ethnicity and gender of student.

Title: IPEDS – Fall Staff Survey

Summary Information: Bi-annual survey completed by all providers of post secondary education on the numbers of full- and part-time institutional staff as of November 1 of the current academic year.

Title: IPEDS – Graduation Rate Survey

Summary Information: Annual survey completed by all providers of post secondary education on the number of students entering the institution as full-time, first-time degree- or certificate-seeking students in a particular year (cohort), by race/ethnicity and gender; number completing their program within 150 percent of normal time to completion; number who transferred to other institutions; and number receiving athletically related student aid.

Summary Information: Annual survey completed by all providers of post secondary education on levels of degrees and awards offered, types of programs, admissions criteria, selected student services, calendar system, tuition, required fees, and room and board charges.

Summary Information: Annual survey completed by all providers of post secondary education on the number of full-time instructional faculty by rank, gender, and length of contract; total salary outlay; and fringe benefits information and number of full-time instructional faculty covered by these benefits.
