Scholarships

Scholarships are available to students who are applying for a first bachelor's degree or second bachelor's degree.

Towson University offers a merit scholarship program for new undergraduate international students. The International Student Scholarship will reduce your tuition expenses. Students can qualify for a scholarship by showing a strong record of academic success and advanced English language skills.

Based on U.S. 4.0 point scale, where:

4.0 = Excellent

3.0 = Good

2.0 = Average

1.0 = Poor

TOEFL: Paper-based 550

                 Computer-based 213

                 Internet-based 77

IELTS:   6.5 

English Composition Course: Grade of “A” at a U.S. college or university

To apply for a scholarship, students must submit an International Student application and all application documents to the Office of International Admissions. A separate scholarship application is not required. Scholarships are competitive and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so students are advised to apply early. Students will be informed of their scholarship award with their admissions packet.






 

The International Student Scholarship is a merit scholarship for new undergraduate students.
