INTERNSHIPS

Internships offer an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience, explore and confirm career choices, develop professional contacts and learn new skills. Some internship opportunities for students Minoring in Jewish studies include:

• The Baltimore Jewish Times

• The Jewish Historical Society, Baltimore, Md.

• Jewish Community Center, Baltimore, Md.

• Jewish Family Services, Baltimore, Md.

 

STUDENT OPPORTUNITIES

Students can develop their leadership potential and pursue special interests through the Jewish Student Center, housed in the Kosher Dining Hall, in Newell Hall.

 

 

 

Announcements

  Towson University's Albert S. Cook Library, the Towson Public Library, and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore are sponsoring the Let’s Talk About It: Jewish Literature - Identity and Imagination reading and discussion series featuring five books related to the theme A Mind of Her Own: Fathers and Daughters in a Changing World.

Professor Evelyn Avery, noted Jewish literary scholar from Towson University, will lead the book discussions. The discussions are free and will be held at the Towson Public Library on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m.
