Request Housing
Spring 2009 - New Freshmen and Transfer Students
There are two housing options available for you to consider for spring housing:
University Housing option:
Beginning Monday, December 1, 2008; 9:00 a.m. - To be guaranteed university housing for spring 2009, newly admitted freshmen and transfer students must complete the online housing request process and pay the housing deposit. Deposits will be accepted on a space available basis ( based on the number of male and female spaces.) If housing is full at the time you click on the “Request University Housing” link below, you will not be able to access the housing gateway. If housing is not available, you will be given the opportunity to complete and submit an Interest List Request form. If space should become available prior to the beginning of the spring semester, you will be notified by mail.
If interested in living in University Housing you must complete the online process, which includes a $350 non-refundable housing deposit and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the housing contract. Once admitted to the university, you must activate your Tiger Account in order to log on to the Housing Request gateway. (It normally takes 1 – 2 business days, after tiger account activation, before you can log in). Once in the gateway, you will be required to pay the $350 non-refundable housing deposit, sign the housing contract for the spring 2009 semester , and request other housing options. After having completed the online process, a confirmation will be mailed to confirm your housing for the spring 2009 semester. Housing will be limited and available on a space available basis only. If you prefer to have a packet mailed to you, please call Housing & Residence Life at 410-704-2516, once you have been admitted.
