Graduate Assistant

Application Process

Applying for a graduate assistantship with the Department of Housing & Residence Life is not complicated, but applicants should follow the procedure accurately and completely. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

  1. A complete application packet includes:
           • Application form
           • Cover letter
           • Resume
           • Three professional references: provide name, title, address, email, and phone
              number of three references

  2. Completely fill out the application form (It is an electronic form that you can fill online and print out later)

           • Application Form (Word Document)
           • Application Form (Electronic Word Document)

  3. Applicants may apply for more than one position. If you are applying for more than one position please indicate in the cover letter which positions you are applying for.

  4. Mail complete application to:

  6. Applicants will be contacted by phone or mail approximately 4-6 weeks after the application has been received

  7. Those who are chosen to be interviewed will be contacted by the Professional & Graduate Staff Selection Committee
