Internships (12 units)
Students are required to complete at least 12 units of an
internship/practicum experience, and 6 of the internship units must be
upper-level units. Internships offer students the opportunity to gain practical
work experience, learn new skills and develop professional contacts.
These experiences are provided at a variety of treatment and prevention
sites statewide, such as inpatient facilities, outpatient clinics, public health
agencies and private sector programs.
