Barbara Chaney

Floundering

Make and model

An opposable girl

Bent and contracting

Crooked and coiling

Ten slick little digits

Wriggling down her throat.

Well-lubricated fabrication,

I stroked the length of it.

Engorged, wanting hands

Cupped, cools saturation

Whispers swollen damp with promise

Heavy with humidity

Words sag with dewy sincerity.

Floundering, searching

Rock and ash pepper my open eyes.
