Financial Literacy

Finance Fest - March 30, 2011
This event is open to all TU students, faculty, parents, and community members.
In an effort to emphasize the importance of financial literacy the United States has officially declared April as National Financial Literacy Month. The month serves as an opportunity to inform and empower Americans to establish and maintain healthy financial habits.
To kick-off the month the Student Government Association (SGA) is hosing the first annual FinanceFest. Co-sponsored by the College of Business and Economics, Maryland Coalition for Financial Literacy, and Financial Services Money Attitude Program, the event walks participants through tax preparation, credit report checks, and other useful budgeting information.
