Fisher College Scholarships:

  • The Fisher Scholarship Program

    The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers two scholarships for full-time, incoming freshmen that are renewable up to four years: the Jess Fisher FCSM Scholarship and the Jess Fisher Pre-Engineering Scholarship.

  • The Willard Hackerman Scholarship

    The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers the Willard Hackerman Scholarship, a donor-funded endowed scholarship for incoming freshmen students from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute committed to major in a program housed in the Fisher College of Science and Mathematics. This scholarship is renewable up to four years.



  • The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program

    The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation and is a joint effort between the Towson University’s Fisher College of Science & Mathematics and College of Education. This scholarship program aims to meet the growing local and national need for better-qualified middle and high-school STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) teaching professionals. The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program channels these teachers into high need school districts. This program provides for both

    • Robert Noyce Undergraduate Scholarships and
    • Robert Noyce Graduate Stipends.


  • The Robert E. Daihl Scholarship

    The Fisher College of Science and Mathematics offers a scholarship for science majors within the Jess & Mildred Fisher College of Science and Mathematics who intend to teach in a secondary school science. This scholarship is awarded during the semester they are student teaching.

  • Mary Hudson Scarborough Award for Excellence in Mathematics for Outstanding graduating Senior Mathematics Major
  • Mary Hudson Scarborough Award for Excellence in Secondary Mathematics Education for outstanding graduating Senior Mathematics Major with a Secondary Education
  • Mary Hudson Scarborough Award for Excellence in Elementary Mathematics Education for outstanding graduating Senior Elementary Education Major with a Minor in Mathematics
