TU snapshot: spring semester

A sampling of 2004 stats and facts  

 

•  TU enrolled a total of 16,577 students this spring, a decrease of one percent from spring 2003.

 

•  Of TU's 13,448 undergraduates, 15 percent are part-time, 60.4 percent are women, 80.4 percent are Maryland residents and 74.7 percent are white.

 

•  The part-time enrollment of 4,394 accounts for 26.5 percent of the total. Of the part-timers, 54 percent are graduate students and 66.2 percent are women.

 

•  The percentage of undergraduate minority (African-American, Asian, American Indian, and Hispanic) and international students is at a high of 15.5 percent and 2.8 percent, respectively.

 

•  The annualized full-time equivalent (FTE) for FY 2004 is 13,561.3.
