ENVS 485: Environmental Internship

Guidelines for this course are posted here.  Students may obtain internships at the university (working with a faculty member or facilities manager on campus), in the private sector (in environmental consulting or environmental planning), in the public sector at the federal, state or local level (with organizations such as the Environmental Protection Agency, Fish and Wildlife Service or U.S. Geological Survey), and in the nonprofit environmental community (with a non-govern-mental environmental group).

Students in our program have obtained internships in a variety of organizations.  This list continues to grow.

Assistance on writing style issues for the analytical paper required for the course can be found on the Resources page of this website.

Internship Availability Postings  Positions will be listed as quickly as possible.  Don't restrict yourself to opportunities listed here.  Many organizations are happy to accommodate student interns.  Call other organizations and ask.
