Dr. Joanne Li, Chairperson for the Department of Finance, discussed budgeting, saving, credit card use, and college loan programs.

Lecture by Dr. Howard Baetjer; 7pm, Location: ST111

Dr. Baetjer gave a lecture on global warming and the Iraqi war, prompting this discussion on the forum. Excellent Lecture. Great turn out too! Thanks College of Libertarians! Dr. Baetjer received his B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University, and then later received his Ph.D. in Economics from George Mason University.

Immigration in North America - Legal and Illegal (Dr Tamara Woroby)

Immigration, whether legal or illegal, is a topic that has been on the mind of the public and the media, and most definitely on the political radar screen. Professor Tamara Woroby showed us how an economic focus on immigration can bring clarity to this controversial issue and provide clear-cut policy solutions.

This was the end-of-the-semester social. Barely anyone showed up, that included the faculty. Next time there's a social event, we need more people!
