Center for student Diversity

Mission

The mission of the Center for Student Diversity (CSD) is to provide intellectual, social, personal, and cultural enrichment programs and services that build community and create civility. We strive to create a learning community that recognizes and appreciates cultural differences, respects individual uniqueness, and engages in cross-cultural dialogue and interaction. We serve ALL students, while paying particular attention to the needs of students of color and other under-represented and marginalized groups on campus. Our purpose is to help the institution increase, retain, and graduate a diverse student body. CSD's goal is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can attain their educational pursuits in a seamless manner.
