CAMPAIGN KICKOFF CELEBRATION
November 6, 2006
Towson University unleashed its $50 million capital campaign on November 2, 2006 with a spectacular party attended by nearly 400 alumni, donors and friends of the university. The evening began with a nostalgic journey down memory lane as guests enjoyed playful vignettes highlighting some of Towson’s most treasured times. The Tiger Marching Band took the lead moving the party into a retro-lounge style concert arena where President Caret made brief remarks and recognized lead donors to the Growing a University campaign. Later, renowned recording artists Three Dog Night took the stage and rocked the house as guests danced the night away.
