GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Growing the Child Care Center at Towson University
When Towson University opened the Child Care Center in 1972, it was one of very few institutions in the country to recognize and support the needs of student parents.
Today the center continues its tradition of exceptional child care in its new state-of-the-art home on the Towson campus. The center opened the $4.5 million facility in January 2007, 35 years after first welcoming children of the TU community.
 |
The goal of the center remains to support student parents by allowing them to continue their education while assisting with their parental responsibilities. In addition to providing quality care for the children of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students, center staff also welcomes children of faculty and staff, former Child Care Center families and staff, university alumni, and members of the community. |
For more information on supporting the Child Care Center, please contact the university development office at 410-704-3375 or 1-866-301-3375, or email dmayer@towson.edu.
