About the Founders Society
The Founders Society – the university’s premier leadership group for annual support –recognizes alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff who are dedicated to the vision of Towson. Members are individuals we can count on, year after year, for the private funding the university needs for all facets of university life, from student support and faculty development to enhanced programming.
Gifts may support any designation at the university or be unrestricted to assist with university priorities. Through their generosity, Founders Society members show commitment to the university’s ambitions and confidence in its plans for the future.
Members of the Founders Society are invited to special events, recognized with an honorary designation in publications and receive quarterly communications. Gifts qualifying for membership must be made during the university fiscal year.
Towson University’s worth to the greater region is immeasurable. Its impact on students is life-changing. As a philanthropist, you will become part of the excitement that is Towson.

From a regional Teacher's college to a nationally recognized university, Towson continues to grow in importance as it drives for systemic changes in the areas of teaching, research, industry and public service. I readily support TU at the Founders Society level because I am proud and grateful for my Towson education, and I fully support the expansion of our school's mission.
