About the Founders Society
The Founders Society is the premier, university-wide leadership recognition program for yearly support. Membership recognizes alumni, parents, friends, faculty and staff who are dedicated to the vision of Towson and requires annual renewal. Founders Society contributors are individuals we can count on, year after year, for the private funding the university needs for all facets of university life, from student support and faculty development to enhanced programming.

Gifts may support any designation at the university or be unrestricted to assist with university priorities. Through their generosity, Founders Society members show commitment to the university’s ambitions and confidence in its plans for the future.

Members of the Founders Society are invited to special events, recognized with an honorary designation in publications and receive quarterly communications. Gifts qualifying for membership in the 2009 Founders Society are received between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009.

Towson University’s worth to the greater region is immeasurable. Its impact on students is life-changing. As a philanthropist, you will become part of the excitement that is Towson.

Having re-connected in the past couple of years, I am astounded at TU's current dynamism. I see really bold and compelling visionary changes. Looking from the outside, it is clear that the changing external face of the campus, with new buildings and people, reflects an internal commitment to truly aspirational goals; most notably, to emerge as a regional leader in a highly competitive academic market.
