Our Federal Id Tax #: 52-600-2033 Please Note:
Tuition rates will change for 41 week families and all new incoming families as of June 1. Rates change for our 52 week families as of the first week of our new contract which is typically the third week of August. Forty week families also pay the $250 deposit for the summer (which, again, comes off of their first payment, if they come, or it is lost to them if they don't come), "Summer" typically runs from the first week of June through approximately, the end of the second week of August. Time during the summer can only be picked up in weekly amounts, at an extra cost of $25.00 per week for 41 week families, unless they alert the director in writing regarding what they would like available to them during the summer, before April 1, in which case they will be able to assume* (if space is available) that they would get whichever weeks of summer they have in mind at the current year's prices.)
*We do, on occasion, enroll 5-year olds who missed the September 1st cut-off date for entry into Kindergarten in Maryland’s Public School Systems. (Consideration of such an enrollment will involve parental discussion with the Director and their child's Lead Teacher, before acceptance, and a monthly reevaluation on the part of the Lead Teacher and Director.) We also will consider accepting children whose parents would like their child to have another year of PreSchool before entering Kindergarten. (We do assess and continue to evaluate, on an individual basis, all children who are 5+ years of age, to ensure that we are
accommodating these children appropriately.)
Procedures regarding Parking and Access Entry
**Parking permits are required when dropping off/picking up children. All students, faculty and staff should already have a University parking permit. Alums and Community must purchase a Towson University parking permit for purposes of drop off/pick up. ***"Access/Entry "Swipe Card" will be required for entry.
Students, faculty & staff families will already have this card, Alum and Community families will be given this card.(First
card is free, but a replacement costs $15.00.) These cards are
required to facilitate safe entry. Payment considerations: www.towson.edu/adminfinance/fiscalplanning/bursar/paymentinformation/paymentoptions.asp
for an explanation of our Bursar Office's "payment options". All families use a 6 payment plan (41 week families), or 8 payment plan (52 week families) payment schedule, unless a family enrolls beyond the beginning of the contract year, in which case the initial payments would need to be condensed to "catch up" within the schedule which all other families follow. Payments, then, for these families would be aligned with the same dates as our regular families.
If a family would like to consider altering their payment dates/payment plan, please contact the Director, in writing, regarding what your proposed plan might be. Your written plan should include: your invoice number and amount due, the payment dates which you propose (arriving at the same total for which you were originally billed), finishing up your payments by May 1 of that same calendar year (for 41 week families) or June 1 (for 52 week families). After checking over the proposed plan it will be forwarded to the Bursar's Office for approval. If approved by the Bursar's Office, you will get an e mail from the Director indicating that the Bursar's Office has accepted your alternate plan, and then the alternate plan should begin to be implemented immediately by the family. Please be advised, the dates originally submitted by invoice to you are the dates which the computer assigns from your original invoice regarding late fees. Those alerts will still automatically be sent to you by mail. Keep close control over your receipts etc., so that you will be able to clearly articulate your current situation with the Bursar's Office.
Payments Due and Application Due with $250 deposit date(s) for our 2012- 2013 year.
Families enrolling or re-enrolling for our new year which will formally begin the third week of August and end,
depending upon the length of contract you request, either late May (41 week contract families) or mid August (52 week contract families) will have the following payment due dates:
Please note: We ask that all new incoming families and all 40 week families return at least one week earlier, for the purpose of
accommodating or reaccomodating themselves here at school, and so, those families become 41 week families with reference to being billed.
41 week families; July 30, 2011; August 30, September 30, October 30, November 30, and January 30, '12. (On December 15, '11,Applications for following year w/$250 application fee is
due. This deposit of $250 is not printed on your bill, as this money goes to the following fiscal year.) If 40 week families feel they would like to have a few weeks in summer, they need to let us know specifically by email which weeks they would like, and get that request to us before April 1, in order to be billed at this year's prices. (Our prices go up about 4 % each year on June 1.)
52 week families; July 30, 2011, August 30, September 30, October 30, November 30, January 30, '12, February 30, and March 30. Please note: $250 deposits for the upcoming year are due by December 15. This translates to 52 week families who plan to return the following year, having a $250 deposit due in December
Payment Due Dates and $250 deposit date(s) w/Application due for our '10/11 year. Families
enrolling or re-enrolling for our new year which formally begins August 22. 2011, should anticipate the following payment dates:
40 week families:
Our first payment of six payments for our next year which begins officially on August 22, 2011 is July 30, 2010; (1st) August 30: (2nd), September 30; (3rd), October 30, (4th) November 30, (5th) January 30th '11 (6th). The $250 deposit for the upcoming year will be due February 15th but can be paid anytime before that. (December is the month during which there is no tuition payment, so that month to pay the $250.00 for the upcoming year to hold your child's spot.. Please be sure to label the $250 check separately, as being the deposit for upcoming year, and leave that check with Miss Debbie. She will check with the Bursar's Office and when we are assured that you are up-to-date on your payments, your check will be deposited. .
Please note: We are requesting that all 40 week families return the week before we formally start , or the week of 8/15/10, to make the transition easier for all of the children. (Being out two weeks is a long time for a little child, being out "most of the summer" we find to be a huge
deterrent to blending back in with ease. We would like 40 week families to start a week earlier than our other children, most of which will already be here as they are already 52 week families.)
52 week families: The first payment of eight for next year which formally begins August 22, 2011 is due July 30, 2011, (1st); August 30; (2nd);, September 30, (3rd); October 30, (4th); November 30, (5th) January 30; (6th) February 30;; (7th), March 30; (8th). There are is no payment due in December. The $250 deposit for the following year is due December 30. Please be sure to label the $250 deposit check separately, as being the $250 deposit for Fall of 2012 and leave with Miss Debbie, who will contact the Bursar's Office to see if you are up to date with your payments. If you are, she will submit it to the Bursar's Office then.
Yearly Tuition Increases:
We, typically, are notified by early May regarding rate increases by the office of The Vice President of Finance, and then, subsequently, publish such increases. Meanwhile, for planning purposes, you can assume that tuition rates will go up no higher than a 4% increase.
