Born in Miami, she began her ballet training with Ballet
Etudes of
South Florida. As an early teenager, she was accepted into the
Ballet Etudes Company and has since acquired a repertoire which
includes leading roles in ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake,
Sleeping Beauty, Paquita, Don Quixote, Giselle and many others.
She shared the stage with artists such as Rudolf Nureyev, Amanda
McKerrow, Cheryl Yeager, Wes Chapman, Mariana Tcherkassky,
and Peter Jacobson. Her extensive dance training includes classical
ballet, modern, African, Afro-Cuban, and Flamenco Techniques.
She began teaching at the age of 16 and since then has taught and
choreographed for Ballet Etudes of South Florida, Martha Mahr
School of Ballet, Patricia Penenori Dance Academy, Miami Dade
Community College, Agnes Scott College, Florida International
University and Florida State University.
