Database Consultant/Designer
 

Database designer needed to collaborate with the revamping of our agency’s data collection, management, and analysis operations. You will work with the Director of Quality Management, the Medical Director, and the Network Administrator to:

·        Identify the data we need, collate it with the data we already collect, and compile a comprehensive survey of the facility’s data needs.

·        Devise a rationalized plan for gathering and entering that data.

·        Create a Microsoft Access interface for entering and retrieving data, and generating reports.

·        Train relevant staff in using the revised system.

Qualifications: This is a contractual, time-limited position. Applicants must be eligible for State of Maryland employment and have an accredited bachelor’s degree in computer information technology or a related field; or one year of experience designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining database applications. Salary is commensurate with experience.

The Regional Institute for Children and Adolescents in Baltimore (RICA-B) is a mental health treatment and education center serving emotionally disturbed adolescents and their families in both residential and day treatment settings. RICA-B is a JCAHO-accredited agency of the State of Maryland Mental Hygiene Administration.
