John Haggerty
John Haggerty (b. 1988) is a violinist, composer and improviser. He has studied composition at Towson University under the instruction of Dave Ballou, Dr. William Kleinsasser and Dr. Jonathan Leshnoff. While studying composition, he also studied violin performance with Dr. Jeffrey Howard. As a composer, Haggerty has composed a diverse set of works for small ensembles, electronic music, the combination of the two and chamber orchestra. He has also written and performed his own incidental music for Towson University's Theater Department.  Haggerty has his BM in jazz/commercial music composition from Towson University and will begin applying to graduate schools in the Fall of 2011.
