Abiel Adoniram Mir was born in Pinar del Rio, Cuba in 1975. Mr. Mir received an Associates degree from Howard Community College and has finished his Bachelors Degree in Music Composition at Towson University. Mir was the founder and composer for Amigos de Jesus a fusion/experimental band, for whom he wrote over 20 pieces. Mr. Mir served for seven years as the musical director and worship leader at First Hispanic Baptist Church of Laurel, MD where he founded various ensembles, including the church adult choir. Abiel Mir graduated with a B.Mus. degree in composition in December, 1999. Currently he holds a full-time position as minister of music at First Hispanic Baptist Church of Hialeah, FL. |
