January 11th, 2009
President Caret congratulates a new graduate

Congratulations! Graduation from college, whether you are earning a baccalaureate or advanced degree, is a major event in your life. It is an acknowledgment of your hard work, perseverance and achievement.

Commencement day is a time when you, your family, your guests and the university will all celebrate your success. This Web site includes information that will help make the day go smoothly. Here you'll find details about preparing for Commencement, so the day itself can truly be a memorable, joyous occasion. We want you to enjoy the ceremony, and we also want you to be well informed about what each graduate needs to do in advance.

Provided here are links to directions, maps and parking information for you and your guests. You can connect to the University Store to order your cap and gown, and other graduation materials. Please review the Academic Information link if you have questions about academic eligibility. There's even a FAQ page to provide the short, quick answers everyone seems to need.
