Minutes from General Meeting, Tuesday, October 9, 2007

Location: Room 305 in the Union

All 4 Committee members were present
19 people attended

-Co-Organizer, Sean Lawlor began the meeting by speaking about Light the Night. Secretary, Rachel Alexander then passed around the sign-in sheet for the meeting and a sign-in sheet for Light the Night. Sean Lawlor then spoke aobut the trip to Philadelphia and about how Mische and Melville of the Catonsville Nine will be speaking at Towson University on the 12th of November in Linthicum 100.

-It was then mentioned that there will be a Human Rights Awareness Day. It will be sort of like an involvement fair but centered around human rights, and there will be music. This day is intended to increase the awareness of human rights issues.

-Brian Ward then spoke about the Iraq War Week of Action. He explained each day's events in detail.

The group then split up into Committees until the end of the meeting.

 The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 pm. The next one is scheduled for October 16, 2007.
