Minutes from General Meeting, Tuesday, October 23, 2007

Began: 500pm
All 4 Committee members were present
17 people attended

-Co-Organizer, Heather Kangas began the meeting by having all of the members introduce themselves.

-Secretary, Rachel Alexander then spoke about the upcoming event, ZooBoo. She announced that it will be on Saturday, October 27th. She also spoke about the details of the event and found out who could be the drivers for the car pool.

-Co-Organizer, Sean Lawlor then reminded the group that two members of the Catonsville Nine will be speaking on campus. These are remarkable people so everyone should try to take time to see them.

Greg Mazur then spoke about a labor dispute that involve the Unions Unite and Here. The unions are involved with hotel workers and are trying to defeat the tyranny of certain hotel owners.

The organization then divided into Committees.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 pm. The next one is scheduled for October 30, 2007.
