Venues and Galleries

Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts is located at the corner of Osler Center for the Artsand Cross Campus drives. It houses the Ruth Marder Studio Theatre, Harold J. Kaplan Concert Hall, Recital Hall, Mainstage Theatre and the box office.  Also located in the Center for the Arts are the Asian Arts & Culture Center, the Center for the Arts Art Gallery, Holtzman MFA Art Gallery, and the offices of the Music Preparatory Division and Community Arts Center.

Box Office Hours:

Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. and one hour before curtain for ticketed events taking place in the Center for the Arts.

Stephens Hall

Stephens Hall

Stephens Hall, easily identified by its clock tower, is located in the 7900 block of York Road. The Stephens Hall Theatre presents dance, opera, music, theatre and Asian arts performances.

Tickets for events held in the Stephens Hall Theatre can be purchased through the Center for the Arts Box Office. Parking is available at the Glen Garage, located behind Bill Bateman's restaurant.

Box Office Hours:

Tuesday-Saturday, noon to 4 p.m. and one hour before curtain for ticketed events taking place in Stephens Hall Theatre.

Asian Arts & Culture Center

Asian Arts Gallery

The Asian Arts & Culture Center now owns, or has on long-term loan, approximately 1,000 art objects from China, Korea, Japan, India, Tibet, Nepal, Cambodia, Indonesia and Thailand. Selected objects are displayed in the Asian Arts Gallery throughout the academic year. The center is located on the 2nd floor of the Center for the Arts.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday 1-4 p.m.

Center for the Arts Art Gallery

The CFA Art Gallery is the main venue for viewing some of the region and nation's finest artwork. The gallery is located on the third floor of the Center for the Arts near the box office on the corner of Osler and Cross Campus drives.

Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Holtzman MFA Art Gallery

This Holtzman MFA Art Gallery in the Center for the Arts focuses on thesis exhibitions and other shows related to the MFA program. It is located on the second floor of the Center for the Arts.

Hours: Tuesday- Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Towson Commons Student Art Gallery

The gallery hosts student and faculty exhibitions. It is located at 435 York Road in downtown Towson.
