Field Experiences

Each Teacher Education student who has reached the appropriate level of competency will have a series of progressively responsible feild experiences. The CPP facilitates these experiences.Towson University has implemented a Network of Professional Development Schools to provide all students with an intensive and extensive internship, including on-site course work integrated with pre-student teaching and student teaching experiences.

Students enrolled in the teaching internship (student teaching) are charged a lab fee. This fee is used for remuneration to mentor teachers in schools where field experiences are completed.
