College Libertarians of Towson Press Release
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- April 27, 2006 FREE “POLITICAL PIZZA PARTY”BALTIMORE, Maryland – For the second semester in a row, the College Libertarians of Towson (CLT) will be hosting what it calls a Political Pizza Party. The Political Pizza Party will take place on the College Libertarians’ final official meeting of the Spring 2006 semester: Wednesday, May 10th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The event will be held in room 316 of the University Union. Pizza will be free for those who attend, and everyone is invited, whether they’re College Libertarians, College Democrats, College Republicans, Campus Greens, or other. Last semester, guests from each of the four campus political groups attended the College Libertarians’ Political Pizza Party. The College Libertarians once again expect a good turn-out for this event. “I really enjoy our relationship with each of the other three parties on campus,” said Alex Peak, President of the College Libertarians. “It would be interesting to see what would happen if our elected officials worked as well together as our various groups.” The College Libertarians of Towson, which tends to be classified as fiscally-conservative and socially-liberal, meet on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM in room 316 of the University Union. # # # |
