Voices from the New American Schoolhouse

Some time in March, we will be showing the documentary Voices from the New American Schoolhouse by Danny Mydlack, an assistant professor of media production and history here at Towson University.  The film is about the Fairhaven School in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

The Fairhaven School is a Sudbury school, thus the documentary explores how the Sudbudy model of schooling works.

This screening will be co-hosted by the Towson Campus Greens, and we’re looking into the possibility of also co-hosting it with the College of Education.

Following the film, Professor Mydlack will be speaking about his work and what he learned throughout the production thereof.
