Hola Circle K! This Tuesday is our LAST MEETING and our Spring Inductions!! Everyone is invited and we want as many general members there as possible! Come out and support the new inductees, enjoy light refreshments (dessert theme!) and partake in some "stress free" fun! The board wants to thank all of our members for the hard work put out this year and look forward to even more service next year!

Hey Guys! This Tuesday will be our second to last meeting of the semester! May 6, 2008 will be our last meeting and Spring Inductions! Everyone is welcome and there will be light refreshments! Come take a break from studying for finals because the theme of our inductions is "Stress-Free!" :-)

Also...thank you to everyone who came to Rock-a-Thon on Friday night! We had a great time "rockin' out" to the bands and of course doing service projects!

Hellllllooo Circle K! Thanks to everyone who came out for our Bill Bateman's Fundraiser on Thursday! We had a great turnout! :-)

Our second annual Rock-A-Thon with APO to raise money for Pulmonary Hypertension Association is on  THIS Friday, April 25, 2008 from 8pm until midnight in Burdick Gym. (We know you'll be on-campus for Tigerfest the next day!!) Join us for a night full of service projects, rock bands, food, and much more! Tickets are sold in advance for $7 and at the door for $10.

REMINDERS!!!

We are STILL collecting pull-tabs from metal cans (soda, energy drinks, any other can with a pull-tab that you can think of...) for the Ronald McDonald House. We have a container to put them in at every general meeting so bring them every Tuesday! We have already filled up one entire "house" container from Ronald McDonald House but would love to collect some more!

We are having a Food Drive for the Humane Society of Harford County. Please consult http://www.harfordshelter.org/wishlist_main.html for a list of things needed for the drive. PLEASE NOTE: The shelter has an agreement with Hill's Science Diet to only feed the animals their brand.  The will accept donations of other brands, but just be aware that other brands of food will go into their pantry for distribution to low income families and other shelters and rescue groups that need it.

We are also always collecting empty ink cartridges! When your printer runs out of ink, please bring the cartridges to the next meeting or put them in the door of the Circle K office!

Hey Circle K! This past weekend some of our club got the chance to go to the Capital District Convention in Fairfax, Virginia! yaaay! We attended informative workshops, sent two delegates to the House of Delegates to make district decisions and elect the new district board and enjoyed the President's Banquet. At the end of the convention we got the great news that the District Convention for the 08-09 school year is going to be in Baltimore, so we hope to see MANY of our members attending!
