Advising

advising

The faculty in the College of Business and Economics advise students on all aspects of their undergraduate program and serve as a resource for assisting students in meeting their career goals. Each student is assigned a faculty adviser when they are admitted to the College as either pre-majors or majors. All students must meet with their adviser prior to registration for the following semester. At this time, the faculty advisor and student may discuss the student’s academic progress, suggest courses for the following semester, consider extracurricular activities to enhance one’s résumé, evaluate options for graduate school, provide information on the steps to take to acquire an approved internship, as well as other topics that the student may need guidance.
