Finding an Internship

          networking

Resources are available to assist you in finding an internship. It is important that you start this process early by submitting your application to several openings. Don’t just apply to one internship and hope that it will work out with that company. Be proactive! Learn how to network!

Events
Every semester, the College of Business and Economics hosts several events. These events not only provide you with a wealth of information but serve as a great opportunity to network with local business leaders.

Career e-Newsletter
Distributed by the College, the Career e-Newsletter provides a listing of approved internships available for application. Not receiving the Career e-Newsletter? Contact Lisa Michocki at busx460@towson.edu.

Career Center
Students should also use the Career Center as a resource. Students can meet with Career Center Counselors or use the Hire@TU database to find internships.

Career Insider
The Career Insider is an online resource which provides access to full-text industry guides, employer profiles and reviews, sample resumes, career videos, and much more.

Students also have the option of finding an internship on their own. Be sure to use your network to find out about openings.
