Department of e-Business & Technology Management
I am interested in the PMBA Track - What steps do I take next?
- Go to TU online services and submit a change of major form. (TU Login required)
http://www.towson.edu/registrar/changingmajor.asp
- IF your current catalog year is prior to AY 2009-2010, go to http://www.towson.edu/registrar/Forms/
and print out a "Catalog Selection Petition"and choose AY 2009-2010 as your catalog year.
Submit the completed form to the Department of e-Business & Technology Management in ST 314.
After the form has been signed by the department chairperson, it will be forwarded to Enrollment Services (Room 288)
- Once the above steps have been completed, you will be assigned an advisor within
the e-Business & Technology Management Department within a week or so. It is strongly recommended
that you print out a new advising form for your catalog year (AY 2009-2010 or later) available at
http://wwwnew.towson.edu/cbe/student_resources/advising/forms.asp
and schedule a meeting with your new advisor to go over your class schedule.
- When you do the earlier steps, your major will appear as PBUA - Pre-Business Administration.
Once you have completed the seven lower level courses with a GPA of 2.7 or better and satisfactorily completed the
Computer
Proficiency Exam (CPE) (passing grade of 70% or higher), you will have to apply for admission into the Business Administration (BUAD) Major.
The application form can be
found at
http://wwwnew.towson.edu/cbe/Files/advising/BUAD_Admission_Application.pdf. Complete this form and
submit it to the CBE Office of Student Academic Services (SAS) in ST 301. Please note that one has to be an admitted
Business Administration Major to be able
to take the upper level courses.
Note: For students whose current catalog year is earlier than AY 2008-2009 AND they have
already taken the COSC 111 with a grade of C or better, the Computer Proficiency Exam (CPE) requirement
will be waived.
