promote regional economic and societal development. The Center for Applied Business and Economic Research (CABER) serves as CBE's research and outreach arm and meets the education and knowledge needs of Baltimore-area businesses and government through research, lifelong learning, intellectual partnerships, outreach, economic knowledge and consulting. The Maryland Council on Economic Education helps Maryland schools provide K-12 students with economic and financial knowledge as well as decision-making skills they need to be informed consumers, savers, investors, productive workers and involved citizens.
The college's 11 student organizations are active in linking the college with the community. The college offers a variety of scholarship opportunities, which have enabled many students to become leaders in the work force.
These resources and partnerships, along with faculty scholarship, influence every aspect of student learning.
