The Dr. Ned Britt, Jr. Leadership Award
The Dr. Ned Britt, Jr. Leadership Award is given each semester to one Campus Recreation Services student employee or volunteer who has served the department for a minimum of four semesters. Named after the first Director of Campus Recreation Services, who led the department from 1972-2007, the recipient is a student who has exhibited quality service and leadership within the department throughout their tenure of service. The recipient serves as a role model, both as a staff person and a participant, and is the bar by which excellence in student employment is measured.

The Starman Award
The Starman Award is given each semester to up to four Campus Recreation Services student employees or volunteers who have excelled in one or more program areas or support functions. Recipients are students who have gone above and beyond the call of duty on numerous occasions to enhance the quality of CRS programs and to create memorable experiences for its participants. No minimum length of service is required.
