Group Exercise
All classes are held
in Burdick Hall, Gym 3. Classes are free, all you need is your TU OneCard. Thanksgiving Week Class Descriptions Ab Attack: Now 20 minutes instead of 15 minutes. Get that 6-pack you’ve always wanted! A condensed “abs only” class to target just the middle. *Corespin: Cycling with a twist! 20 minutes of core strengthening jump starts this class, followed by a 30-minute cycling segment full of climbs and sprints. CSI: Let us whip you into shape boot camp style! This cardio/strength interval class will get your heart PUMPING and your feet moving. No coordination necessary! Encore: Encore, Encore! Want more for your core? The addition of this 45-minute class focuses on building strength and stability of the abdominal, oblique and lower back muscles through a variety of exercises, with a stretching component to conclude the class. Force: This boot camp style class packed with agility, speed and resistance drills will undoubtedly have you sweating as you improve your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Kickboxing/Kickboxing Circuit: This kick-butt cardio class combines muscle conditioning with kickboxing combinations that will have you punching kicking, and doing combos in no time. *TigerSpin: Have you heard of ‘Spinning’? This class compares. It’s an extreme whole body workout that will get your blood pumping. It is great cardiovascular exercise on the bike, which works those core leg muscles and so much more. Yoga: Yoga integrates the mind, body, and spirit through postures which focus on strength, flexibility, breathing, and quieting the mind. A variety of group exercise classes are held each week during the fall and
spring semesters. All classes are
taught by trained student instructors, with auditions for new
instructors held in the spring semester. |
