Project Marj Wilderness
Pre-Orientation

2010 Program: August 16-20

Project Marj is Towson University's pre-orientation wilderness experience. The trip works to develop group efficiency, ingenuity and leadership. The adventure activities urge participants to disregard self-imposed limitations on the mind and body and promote the growth of self-worth and esteem. It is challenging in many ways, but with a focus on leadership, communication and self-discovery, it concentrates on safety and is within the physical capabilities of the average healthy person.

Project Marj will cover all of the necessary technical adventure equipment for the trips including backpacks and sleeping bags. Participants need to provide clothing, suitable footware, and other personal items. Check out our Forms page for a complete list of required paperwork and tips on what to pack!
