The climbing wall is available for private use
during closed hours. Two hour climbing sessions at the wall are available
to private
parties, schools, and corporate groups. We can also organize team-building
activities for your group at an additional cost.
When can I rent the gym?
The facility is rented for two-hour sessions at any of the following times.
The session must end by time listed below.
Monday to Thursday: 10am to 2pm
Friday: 10am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm
Sunday: 9am to 1:30pm
How much does it cost?
The price varies depending on the type of group. The following prices
are per person and
based on our standard 2 hour program. The minimum group size is 10 people
and the maximum
group
size
is
35
people.
Some days are not open for wall rental due to group rentals, holidays, or
University events.

Who will be working the event?
The gym will be staffed with student employees who will guide
you through your experience. Their responsibilities include orientating
the group to the
facility, fitting them with the proper equipment and providing a safe,
positive environment.
The University tries to staff one instructor to every five participants. This
ratio allows
everyone a chance to climb while still being able to give each person the individual
attention
and encouragement they need.
What equipment do I need to bring?
The climbing gym will provide each participant with a climbing harness
and a helmet.
Climbing shoes will not be provided, but you are welcome to bring your
own.
How do I book my session at the
Peregrine's Nest?
One month advanced notice is required for all events. Call (410) 704-6334 to
schedule
your event. Each participant is required to fill out a liability wavier by the
day of the event to climb in the gym.
