The Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Start or Join a Team Teams are the heart of Memory Walk - people working together to support the millions affected by Alzheimer's. Team up to have fun, make new friends, and support a great cause. Where: Burdick Field When: October 18, 2008 - 8:00 a.m. Registration, Walk Begins at 9:00 a.m. Length: 2.5 miles Details: Come rain or shine, we promise this will be a glorious day! Participants will enjoy family entertainment and light refreshments and then take a leisurely stroll through Towson sidewalks. The walk will start at Burdick Field and continue around the perimeter of Towson University. Parking will be provided at the Towson Student Union Garage. Come and enjoy a fun filled morning and help raise funds to end Alzheimer's disease and other related dementias.
By joining Memory Walk, you’ll be walking with a purpose – and MOVING us ever closer to a world without Alzheimer's. The Alzheimer's Association, the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research, is dedicated to finding prevention methods, treatments and an eventual cure for Alzheimer’s. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s.
