to see and express a world of both form and
fantasy. People, animals, landscape, architecture

This course is designed for
the student who loves to draw, but needs direction.
Learning to draw what is seen (both real and
imaginary) is a vital step for all other art
forms. Students will learn to hold the pencil
so that it moves with the muscles of the eye.
Using various materials, they will also learn
how to make tonal shaded drawings, contour
line drawings and quick responsive gesture
sketches. The class will focus on understanding
the basic elements of composition and design. |
