Adult Classes - Spring 2008

 POTTER'S WHEEL & Hand Building
ages 12-adult 

6 Saturdays, 9:30am-noon

April 5 - May 10

Learn how to use the potter’s wheel and handbuilding techniques to produce unique clay objects. Topics include wedging, centering and wheel throwing, with coiling, slab construction, and glaze applications. This class combines demonstrations and hands-on work sessions. Returning students will be able to concentrate on the wheel or handbuilt construction. For beginners and intermediate students. Includes firing fee.

 DIGITAL WIZARDRY - Photoshop Essentials
ages 12-adult 

3 Saturdays, 9:30am-noon

April 12 - April 26

Learn the fundamentals of Adobe Photoshop. Students will explore methods of modifying and transforming existing images, and develop their own original digital artwork with this versatile graphics program. Participants should bring a USB Flash drive or a blank CD-R/CD-RW.
