Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program

The Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program includes a “senior Fellowships” program for scholars more than 7 years beyond the Ph.D.  This could be an opportunity for a faculty member with an upcoming sabbatical year to obtain external support (up to $42,000) to facilitate taking a full-year sabbatical.  Applications for the Senior Fellowships may be submitted two years in advance (which helps with the planning of a sabbatical).
