President:  Whitney Wolfgang

Hi everyone! I am the president again this year! I am a 5th year student at Towson University. I am majoring in Biology and Animal Behavior with a minor in Chemistry. I have volunteered at the Maryland Zoo In Baltimore, the SPCA animal shelter and have done research with Dr. Vaidya at Towson. My research was studying the effects of caffeine on anxiety in a rat model.I am currently working in the University of Maryland's Primate Research Facility as an enrichment tech. After graduating from Towson, I plan on going to Veterinary School. If you have any questions on the process of getting into veterinary school don't hesitate to ask! (There is talk about starting a Pre-Vet Club if you are interested please contact me!)

My main goal for this year is to continue to improve attendance of our members and to recruit many more!! I would like to hold more social events as well this year.

Hope to see you all this year!
