Effective communication is an important component to a fulfilling life. The Speech, Language and Hearing Center at Towson University is dedicated to improving all types of communication disorders. Our professional staff and student interns provide evaluation and treatment services to a wide variety of clients. Clinical services are available to everyone, including children and adults from the surrounding community as well as Towson University faculty, staff, students and their families. The Speech, Language and Hearing Center is part of the Towson University Department of Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Deaf Studies. The Center provides training experiences for senior undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students enrolled in our programs. All services are closely supervised by professionals with full certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and licensure from the Maryland Board of Examiners in Audiology, Hearing Aid Dispensers, and Speech-Language Pathology. The Center's state of the art equipment and materials, combined with our dedicated professional staff, insures that all patients receive excellent care. The Speech, Language and Hearing Center is a non-profit program operated as a training site for students. We welcome any gifts and donations to assist us in providing affordable, quality care for patients. For more information, contact the Clinic Directors.
