The Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology and Deaf Studies Department offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs devoted to the enhancement of all forms of human communication. The blending of three distinct programs into one department creates a unique learning experience for undergraduate and graduate students. We offer "right sized" programs, large enough to offer a breadth of courses taught by full-time faculty with expertise in their areas of interest, yet small enough that students get to know one another, and the faculty get to know them.
Academic courses are taught by faculty who are recognized in their areas of expertise. More than 80% of our undergraduate and graduate academic courses are taught by full-time faculty members. Undergraduate and graduate students participate in clinical or community-based learning experiences that enhance skills learned in class. We also operate an on-campus Speech, Language and Hearing Center where students provide services to the community under the supervision of certified professionals.
