Towson Ceramic Guild
Students in the Towson Ceramic Guild make ceramic ware, organize Towson University pottery sales twice a year, and organize field trips and guest lectures. This organization is one of the most active within the Department of Art and contributes a sense of community to all the students and faculty. For information, contact Rich Holt at rholt@towson.edu.
American Craft Council
A great resource, this national educational organization has a mission to promote American craft. The Council offers a magazine, juried show, workshops, seminars and more.
The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts
The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts hosts a national ceramics conference once a year each March.
