Admission Requirements
Students should declare the Art + Design Studio major in their freshman year, to ensure timely progress in their program of study. Admission to Towson University allows a student to declare Art Studio as their major. A portfolio is not required for admission to the Art + Design Studio

Some tracks require students to complete a screening process before continuing with more advanced coursework. The Art Studio tracks which require screening are Digital Art and Design and Graphic Design.
For current screening information, please consult with the department or advisors in the digital art and design design track.
For current screening information, please consult with the department or advisors in the graphic design track.
