Summer Business Casual Dress Permitted Beginning Tuesday, May 27

Business casual dress will be permitted for Towson employees beginning Tuesday, May 27 and ending the first day of fall 2008 classes, Monday, September 2. Offices choosing to adopt this practice should establish guidelines for staff during special internal or external activities or events at which employees represent the university.

Suggested business casual attire includes collared shirts without ties, decent trousers and golf shirts for men; skorts, culottes, dress slacks and casual shirts for women. Athletic shoes, flip flops, athletic pants, athletic shorts or shirts, jeans and tee shirts are inappropriate office wear.

Select TU business casual apparel will be on sale at the University Store from Tuesday, May 27 to Friday, June 13.
