There are many benefits and services available to TU
alumni, including discounts to athletics and fine arts
events, fitness center/pool memberships, use of Cook
Library, and more. You'll need to obtain your alumni ID card
to take advantage of many of these opportunities. For more

Alumni Association ID Cards
Your ID card provides access to Alumni
Association benefits and services. To obtain an ID, call the Office of Alumni
Relations at 410-704-2234 or send an e-mail to
alumni@towson.edu. You can also
request your ID card online at TigerTracks, the alumni online community.
Auto Insurance (GEICO)
GEICO and the TU Alumni
Association provide group rates for auto insurance to qualifying
alumni. Call GEICO, 800-824-5404, for more information.
Brick By Brick Program
Alumni, parents and friends can
purchase engraved bricks to be placed in the front walkway, and
the side and back patio of the historic Auburn House. Built in
1790, the Auburn House welcomes visitors with old-fashioned
charm. To place an order, e-mail

Career Center
Alumni are encouraged to visit the Career Center,
located in the 7800 York Road Building. You'll find many resources there that
you help you advance your career. To make an appointment, or learn more, call
410-704-2233.
Cook Library Privileges
Alumni are welcome to use
Cook Library and its resources. Just present your ID card.
Library staff will assign you an account number so you can check
out books. For Cook Library hours, call 410-704-2452 or
visit them on the web by going to Cook Library http://cooklibrary.towson.edu.
Discounts to Fine Arts Events
Use your ID card when
purchasing tickets to events to receive an alumni discount.
Fitness Center/Pool Memberships
Alumni may purchase
memberships to use the CRIB Fitness Center and pool in
Burdick Hall. Annual parking permits are also
sold in addition to the annual gym membership. (See below
for more information about alumni parking permits).
Memberships may be purchased at the Auxiliary Services
Business Office, located in the University Union. Please bring your Alumni Association ID
card with you. For more information, call 410-704-2234.

License Plates—TU Tags
Purchasing a TU tag is a
great way to show your Tiger Pride and support alumni programs
at Towson. The cost of the Towson tag varies by plate number, as
follows:

A portion of this fee goes directly to the TU Alumni Association to help fund
alumni programming. Your application for the Towson University license plate
does not alter your current registration period or fees. You will continue to

The Alumni Insurance
Program
GradMed short-term health insurance is a great solution for new graduates and other alumni under age 65 who are job-hunting or waiting for new employer benefits to kick in. Apply online for next-day coverage. For details on GradMed, visit www.gradmed.com/towson or call American Insurance Administrators at 1-800-922-1245. GradMed is available in most states.
Parking Permits
Annual alumni parking permits may be
purchased from the Auxiliary Services Business Office in the
University Union.

Scholarships and Awards
The
Alumni Association offers various scholarships and awards for alumni and their
children. For more information, go Awards, Grants and Scholarships. Alumni can
also support one undergraduate student's application for admission each year by
waiving the application fee. Nomination forms are available online, or through
the Office of Alumni Relations.
State Employees Credit Union
of Maryland (SECU)
The State Employees Credit Union of
Maryland offers TU alumni a variety of banking services.
TigerTracks/Alumni Online Community
TigerTracks, Towson University's online alumni community,
is an interactive Web site that encourages you to stay connected with other
alumni and your alma mater. Services include: a secure searchable directory of
all TU alumni (which protects contact information and shares only the
information that you wish to publish); chat rooms (where your
e-mail address and contact information is protected); special forums and note
boards for chapters, networks and clubs; automated newsletters about the
university; and a personal Web page for each alumna/us that can hold
personalized photos and class notes. This online community serves as a
place for information sharing, provides a safe and secure digital environment,
and links users to 24-hour customer service for technical needs related to the

Towson, the alumni magazine for Towson
University, celebrates the accomplishments of this metropolitan university and
